VTA’s BART construction offices belong downtown
It is unconscionable VTA didn’t lease its BART Phase 2 construction offices downtown.
There were plenty of economical B building office options downtown instead of at the airport. The 170 VTA staff and consultants should be working on top of their subway project rather than 3 miles away.
If they’d made this big, nine-year lease downtown, VTA would send an entirely different message to the community that will be most impacted by the BART construction on a daily basis.
