Judge Persky advocated against domestic violence

The campaign to recall Judge Aaron Persky states that “We need judges who understand violence against women and take it seriously.” To say that Judge Persky doesn’t take violence against women seriously is just wrong.

I served on the board of the Support Network for Battered Women several years ago with Judge Persky prior to his judicial appointment. As a member of that board, Persky advocated against domestic violence and actively worked to make sure services were available for those abused.

Those who know Judge Persky’s record, including the Commission on Judicial Performance, all agree there is no evidence of bias against women, or in favor of the so- called elite as claimed.

The campaign to recall Judge Persky is based upon falsities. Vote no on the recall. — Nancy Clark, Palo Alto
