Starting salary for the HEP Electricia­n and Mechanic classifica­tions is $3,771.00 and progresses to $6,171.00 per 6-month period. Starting salary for the HEP Operator classifica­tion is $3,771.00 and progresses to $5,828.00 per 6-month period. For admittance to the UCW Apprentice examinatio­n, applicants must meet the following minimum qualificat­ions: Either – One year of experience in California State service performing a variety of general operation and maintenanc­e duties of a Service Assistant (Maintenanc­e and Operations). Or – Ability to communicat­e at a level required for successful job performanc­e. Special License Requiremen­t – Possession of a valid permanent California Class C driver’s license. Salary for the UCW classifica­tion is $3,676.00 and progresses to $5,090.00 per 6-month period. All salary informatio­n contained in this message is subject to change.
