DON’T MISS » “Patrick Melrose” — Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Benedict Cumberbatch delivers an extraordinary performance as the troubled title character in this fivepart adaptation of Edward St Aubyn’s semi-autobiographical novels. The series skewers the upper class as it tracks Patrick’s harrowing odyssey from a highly traumatic childhood through adult substance abuse and, ultimately, toward recovery. Along the way, he struggles to overcome the damage inflicted by a horribly abusive father. The cast includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, Hugo Weaving, Blythe Danner and Allison Williams. (9 p.m. Saturday, Showtime).
