Blame pregnancy brain? That could be one explanation for this bit of confusion on the part of Cardi B.

The very of-the-moment Bronx rap sensation revealed in a since-deleted tweet that she didn’t know that Childish Gambino is the musical alias of actor Donald Glover.

In her tweet, which was captured by several fans and which was making the rounds over the weekend, Cardi B said she thought the two looked like identical twins.

“It’s amazing how Donald Glover and Childish Gambino look soo much alike,” she tweeted. “I think they secretly the same person. So dope!”

When Cardi B started getting replies, telling her that Glover is in fact the singer on the much-buzzed about new single and video “This is America,” she deleted that tweet and posted the one that’s still there. Not surprisingly, Cardi B opened herself up for some teasing, or worse, for her mistake.

By the way, the 25-yearold is pretty pregnant with her first baby with Offset and is due to give birth in the next month or so, according to various reports.

One user said, according to the Daily Mail: “If you didn’t know Childish Gambino was Donald Glover you’re a fake fan.”

But other fans pointed out that Cardi B isn’t the only person on Earth who has made the same mistake.

As for the source of Glover’s alter-ego, the “Atlanta” actor revealed to Jimmy Fallon in 2011 that the name Childish Gambino came from a Wu-Tang name generator, the Daily Mail reported.

“I really liked it,” he told Fallon about the name he adopted in his sophomore year of college. “It just felt like me — like a little scary but mostly cuddly.”

But in January, Glover confirmed that his upcoming new album, his fourth, would be the last under the Childish Gambino name, Billboard reported.

He affirmed his plans to retire Childish Gambino at the Grammy Awards, where he won his first Grammy for best traditional R&B performance for “Redbone.” “I stand by that,” Glover he said, while holding his statue. “I’m really appreciative of this. I’m making another project right now, but I like endings, I think they’re important to progress.”
