QUAKES IN CHICAGO >> The San Jose Earthquakes (27-3) go on the road, an unfriendly adventure so far, to take on the Chicago Fire (4-7-2) today. The Earthquakes are 4-16-4 on the road since the start of last season with a minus-30 goal differential. Coach Mikael Stahre switched to a 4-4-2 formation and inserted Chris Wondolowski back into the starting lineup last week, but it couldn’t produce the needed spark as San Jose fell 1-0 to the L.A. Galaxy in their last outing. Midfielder Anibal Godoy and defenseman Harold will miss the game because of international call-ups.
