Snap is making it so you can delete your Snapchat messages with, well, a snap.

On Monday, Snap unveiled a new feature called Clear Chats, which lets a person delete messages, and other media, after sending it to another person on Snapchat. Clear Chats works with text messages, stickers, audio and voice notes, and photo and video snaps that are sent from Snapchat’s Memories feature.

To delete the items, you press and hold down what you want removed, then finish the process by tapping on a delete button. However, if you open Snapchat and take a photo, or a snap, as Snap likes to call them, those photos can’t be deleted after being sent.

According to the blog 9to5Mac, Snap began rolling out the Clear Chats feature to some users Monday and will make it available to Snap users in the coming weeks.

As long as the person you send a message to doesn’t open it, you can delete the message without the receiver seeing it. However, the person you sent the message to will get a notice saying that something sent to them was deleted.

Snap is also making its second-generation Spectacles available to a wider potential customer base by putting the glasses for sale via Amazon after earlier selling the glasses exclusively at Spectacles. com. The newest version of Spectacles sunglasses are slimmer than the previous model, can take photos, and are also water resistant.
