A South Bay Korean American organization is looking for Americans who fought in the Korean War.

The Korean American Senior Citizens League of Santa Clara wants to invite them to attend a luncheon in their honor, scheduled for June 22 at the New Vision Church, 1201 Montague Expressway in Milpitas.

Called “Heroes Remembered,” the luncheon in the past has been attended by hundreds of people, including dozens of veterans and their families.

Organizers say the 31st annual event — free to Korean War veterans — will start with a 10:30 a.m. ceremony recognizing the veterans, followed by a lunch and entertainment.

American veterans of the Korean War who would like to attend may RSVP by calling Yeonsook Sasak at 408-504-5687.
