More than 25 years after starting their Carmel Valley winery, Testarossa Winery’s owners still outdo themselves by enhancing the offerings at their tasting rooms and events venues. In particular, the Los Gatos tasting room has become the ideal destination for everything from casual afternoons wine tasting with other couples and Friday night girls’ nights out to elegant weddings on the gorgeous, historic site. Wine tastings take place seven days a week and include the Cuvee Tasting featuring four wines, or the Appellation/Single Vineyard Tasting, featuring five single vineyard and appellation wines (Club Testarossa members taste for free). Meanwhile, Testarossa’s Wine Bar 107 is open Wednesdays through Sundays in the spring and summer. An extension of the winery and tasting room, couples, large groups and casual gatherings love the atmosphere at Wine Bar 107, where artisan wine and cheese experiences are made even better by live music on Saturdays and Sundays. Finally, unforgettable weddings take place at Testarossa, where the garden patio has a stunning forest backdrop and the historic, stone “wine cave” is the perfect size for an intimate ceremony for up to 130 guests.
