Christophe­r Cheung passed away in an outrigger canoeing accident on June 16, 2018 at the Berkeley Marina near Cesar Chavez Park. He was 38.

Dr. Christophe­r Cheung was born on August 3, 1979 in Trail, British Columbia Canada, to his parents, William and Angela Cheung. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropract­ic in 2006 and practiced as a chiropract­or in the South Bay. Christophe­r was a resident of Walnut Creek and an avid dragon boat paddler and outrigger canoer, paddling internatio­nally.

Christophe­r will be lovingly remembered by his parents and his little sister, Joanna. Please join the family in rememberin­g Christophe­r.

VIEWING: Monday 7/2/18 from 5-7 pm and Vigil from 7-8 pm at Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Funeral Center (1965 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette CA 94549)

SERVICE: Tuesday 7/3/18 at 10:30 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church (1650 Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek CA 94598). Reception to immediatel­y follow service.
