‘Who needs labels’: Paris Jackson says she is bisexual
Paris Jackson, the freespirited daughter of Michael Jackson, has revealed she is bisexual during a recent social media Q&A with a fan, The Blast reported.
But in a way that’s typical for the outspoken 20-yearold actress and model, she put the revelation on her own terms, saying she’s not fond of “labels.” Responding to a fan’s inquiry, “Are you bi?” Jackson wrote on Instagram’s new question sticker, “That’s what you guys call it so i guess but who needs labels.”
Of course, no one who has followed Jackson’s adventures on social media and in the tabloids would be surprised by her admission. Moreover, after her admission began to make headlines, Jackson took to Twitter to chastise people for making such a big deal of it, saying everyone has known for years about her sexuality because she came out at 14.
She also said she’s repeatedly referred to herself as being a member of the LGBTQ community and has never had a problem about being photographed in public kissing women. She also praised her father for raising her with an open mind. As Jackson noted, throughout the winter and spring, she has made headlines over her reported romance and public displays of affection with Cara Delevingne, another model and actress.
In March, the women appeared to confirm that they were an item by sharing a passionate kiss outside a West Hollywood restaurant. The two were on a double date with Macaulay Culkin and his girlfriend Brenda Song, the Daily Mail reported, sharing photos of the kiss. The “Home Alone” star was good friends with Jackson’s father, Michael Jackson, and is Paris’ godfather.
The Beverly Hills-born Jackson and the British Delevingne reportedly met at the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards. They struck up a close friendship that has since been punctuated by ongoing rumors of a romance. But then in April Jackson sparked talk that she had moved on from Delevingne.
