DiCaprio is dating Al Pacino’s ‘stepdaughter’
Leonardo DiCaprio has been busy in Los Angeles lately, working with Brad Pitt and Al Pacino on Quentin Tarantino’s new Charles Manson-related drama “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
But DiCaprio, 43, took some time off for a romantic getaway in the south of France with his newest girlfriend, 21-year-old Camila Morrone. As it happens, the Argentine model has a serious connection to DiCaprio’s co-star and friend Pacino.
Morrone refers to Pacino, 77, as her “stepfather” because Pacino has been dating her 41-yearold mother, Lucia Sola, since around 2009, when Morrone was around 12. Through Pacino, Morrone and her mother also have known DiCpario for “many years.”
Page Six reported in April that DiCaprio and Morrone began dating in December. She’s the latest model he’s reportedly dated since he split from Nina Agdal earlier this year, People magazine added. Since they began dating, DiCaprio and Morrone have been spotted vacationing in Aspen in January, joining Ellen DeGeneres to celebrate her 60th birthday in February and attending the Coachella music festival in April.
The Daily Mail reports that DiCaprio and Morrone turned up this past weekend in St. Tropez, the famous resort town on the French Riviera. They were photographed Sunday climbing out of a boat and walking to LeClub 55, a beachside restaurant that’s been known as a celebrity hot spot since the 1950s, the Daily Mail said.
DiCaprio and Morrone were photographed again Sunday evening riding in a boat, presumably to grab dinner in the resort town. But the lovebirds weren’t alone. With an apparent view of keeping things all in the family, DiCaprio and Morrone were accompanied by her mother, Sola. Pacino was not present, raising the question of whether he accompanied his girlfriend and her daughter to St. Tropez to hang out with DiCaprio.
Maybe DiCaprio and Pacino could share some gossip with Morrone and Sola from the star-studded set of “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
The film takes place in 1969, the year that the socalled “Manson Family” went on their murderous rampage and killed at least seven people in upscale Los Angeles neighborhoods, including actress Sharon Tate on Aug. 9, 1969.
