worth seeing on the Panhandle stage at noon. Then it’s time for brunch, right? Chicken and waffles from Little Skillet should do the trick, especially when accompanied by some alt hip-hop from Sacramento’s Hobo Johnson and the Love Makers, performing at Sutro from 1:10 to 1:55 p.m.

2-4 p.m.

Hop on over to Lands End at 2 p.m. for 10 minutes or so of Rainbow Kitten Surprise, mainly because it will be fun to tell your friends later you saw a band called Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Then jet up to Twin Peaks to see rising R&B star Kelela, performing 2 to 2:45 p.m.

Just as Kelela is wrapping up, ambient dreampop duo Aquilo is set to take the Panhandle stage. So, we’ll visit with Aquilo through 3:25 p.m. and then boomerang back to Twin Peaks for DJ-producer Gryffin, the remix master who goes on at 3:30 p.m.

4-6 p.m.

Gryffin carries us through 4:20 p.m., which is exactly the time when Monophonics hit the Panhandle. Give the Bay Area soul band 10 minutes or so, then boogie on over to Lands End for Janelle Monáe, whose hourlong set begins at 4:40 p.m. But we’re only sticking around for half of that, since we also want to catch the amazing alt-pop artist LP, performing on Sutro from 4:55 to 5:45 p.m. Then beeline for rising hip-hop star Saba, who hits the Panhandle at 5:55 p.m.

6-8 p.m.

Stick with Saba through the close of his set, then move back to Lands Ends for Portugal. The Man. Hopefully, you’ll get there in time to hear “Feel It Still,” but please note that nothing else in the psychedelic-rock band’s set will likely sound anything like that radio-friendly single. Portugal. The Man ends at 7:20 p.m., which leaves us with time to grab dinner. So, grab a big pesto potato slice (or two) from Escape From New York Pizza and then head over to see legendary hip-hop outfit SaltN-Pepa, performing 7:257:55 p.m. at the House by Heineken.

8 p.m.-close

Let’s keep it simple and just camp out at Lands End, watching the legendary Janet Jackson perform from 8:05 to 9:35 p.m. That sounds like an awesome way to bring the 2018 Outside Lands to a close.
