Logan Sumter connected on 11 of 14 passes for a school-record 325 yards and four touchdowns to lead No. 2 Clayton Valley Charter to a 48-0 rout of Concord. Clayton Valley (3-0) scored 35 points before halftime. … No. 4 Pittsburg intercepte­d three passes and made a couple of stops in the shadow of the end zone, but Centennial­Corona’s Reggie Retzlaff caught two touchdown passes and threw for another to help lead the host Huskies to a 35-7 victory. … Unranked California (2-1) pulled off a significan­t upset, beating eighth-ranked Freedom (2-1) 42-27. Matt McCreary threw three touchdown passes for the winners, two to receiver Gary Wendschlag and tight end Cameron Fitzpatric­k. The score was 28-19 in the fourth period when California scored two touchdowns in a threeminut­e stretch to put the game away. … Jaysn Wade ran for two touchdowns and receiver Gaudie Campbell caught two TD passes from quarterbac­k Willem Karnthong as No. 10 Antioch improved to 3-0 with a 34-13 win over No. 21 San Leandro (1-2).
