Trump affair to be detailed in book

- By Elise Viebeck

Adult-film actress Stormy Daniels announced Wednesday that she will provide new details about her alleged affair with Donald Trump in a forthcoming memoir.

Daniels appeared on ABC’s “The View” to discuss the book and the latest developments in her lawsuits against the president. “Stormy Daniels: Full Disclosure” is due out Oct. 2.

Daniels said the book will highlight her history, experiences and interests outside the Trump maelstrom. But asked how much she had yet to disclose about their alleged affair, she said: “There’s a lot in the book.”

“Are you going to give details of that night in the hotel?” “View” cohost Joy Behar asked, referring to the night in summer 2006 when Daniels says the affair began. “Yes,” Daniels said. “You are,” Behar said. “Yes,” Daniels said. “It will be full disclosure.”

Trump denies claims of an affair.

Daniels, whose given name is Stephanie Clifford, made the announcement after facing legal head winds over the weekend when Trump and his former personal attorney Michael Cohen said they would not enforce the 2016 nondisclosure agreement she is suing to invalidate.

Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti, who appeared with her on “The View,” said the move was intended to protect Trump and Cohen from being deposed in the case.

“They’re doing everything they can to avoid that,” he said.

Cohen last month pleaded guilty to eight federal charges and said he executed hush-money payments at Trump’s direction to two women in the leadup to the 2016 election.

Trump recently said he had no knowledge of the $130,000 hush-money payment to Daniels until after it happened and denied violating campaign finance laws.
