Paula Parsels

Paula Marie Parsels, age 65, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was born in San Jose on August 20, 1953 to loving parents Eleanor and Paul Gluhan. Paula attended San Jose State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1976. On March 26, 1977, she married her high school sweetheart, Jack Parsels. The couple created a home of their own in San Jose, where they went on to raise two daughters, Nicole and Stefanie. Throughout the years, Paula was a dedicated mother, daughter, and wife. Her biggest passion in life was her family. She loved going on family vacations, spending time with her daughters, and most recently watching her grandson, Ryder. Paula devoted her time to caring for her mother and grandson, and maintaining the many friendships she had created throughout the years. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed, but always remembered.

Paula is survived by her mother, Eleanor; her husband, Jack; daughters, Nicole and Stefanie; grandson, Ryder; and many other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to support research in Triple Negative Breast Cancer. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 20th at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park in the Chapel of Roses, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.
