Jimmy Garoppolo trolled by model
Jimmy Garoppolo went down with a season-ending injury Sunday afternoon, and Alexandra King had a pretty brutal response to it.
The model posted a oneword reaction to Instagram: Karma. It was followed by a smiling emoji. Double ouch. This leads us to conclude that the San Francisco 49ers’ prized quarterback might have done something not so nice to King.
Like maybe denying that they once had a relationship?
Garoppolo and the Boston-based King were linked romantically earlier this year, according to the New York Post. In March, TMZ posted photos of the two enjoying a day together at Disneyland. According to the Post, King also made an Instagram entry on Feb. 15 in which she referred to Garoppolo as “My Valentine.”
That post is no longer available. Garoppolo, however, denied that there was anything between the two of them. “It was news to me,” he reportedly said.
Garoppolo and King have not been photographed together since March.
Not only is Garoppolo the current face of the 49ers, he also played for the New England Patriots. The combination of the two makes his dating history national fodder.
This summer, his date with adult film actress Kiara Mia in Beverly Hills was scrutinized, and Garoppolo later appeared to show some regret that he hadn’t done a better job of keeping his private life from going public, according to TMZ.
“Life is different now,” he said. “My life, off the field — I’ve never really been big on being very public with things even on social media. I’m not on there a ton. But my life’s looked at differently. I’m under a microscope. It’s like (49ers coach Kyle Shanahan) said, it is a good learning experience. Just have to take it in stride. It is what it is.”
On Monday, MRI results confirmed that Garoppolo tore the the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will miss the rest of the NFL season.
Garoppolo was injured late in the 49ers’ 38-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
