Rishi Kumar works hard to make Saratoga safe

I am currently a board member of the Saratoga Oaks HOA. I have worked closely with Rishi Kumar for the last two years on the neighborhood watch program. Years ago I served in the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department and was a volunteer neighborhood watch safety captain. The Saratoga City Council, with Rishi Kumar taking the lead, has set up about 70 such programs in Saratoga. Saratoga’s residential burglaries have dropped significantly due to the program’s safety recommendations and best practices, which were recommended by the county Sheriff’s Department.

Rishi works full time in addition to serving on the City Council. I know he has spent many evenings and weekends working diligently to make our city safe. In addition, he has rallied customers of San Jose Water Company to oppose numerous rate increase requests. He has been successful in stopping several of those requests recently.
