Llewellyn Roderick, aged 64, passed away peacefully at home on October 10 after a long battle with mantle cell lymphoma.

Llew was born on the island of Kauai, HI to Lillian Shimojo and Donald Roderick and later moved to Southern California. After graduating from SDSU with a BS in Business he moved to Sunnyvale where he fell in love with and married his wonderful wife. They moved to San Jose where they raised their two children while he worked in the electronic­s industry and as a financial planner.

Llew was very active in his children’s lives serving as football, basketball, and soccer coach, Boy Scout leader, Union Little League board member, and photograph­y teacher.

Llew will always be remembered for his sense of humor, passion for photograph­y, creativity, love of animals (especially his best pal, a black lab named Joey), and devotion to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, daughter Elizabeth Roderick, M.D. of San Diego, and son Ryan Roderick of San Jose; his Uncle Harry and Aunt Lily; brother in law John Charles Cunliffe (Susan) and nephew Andrew Charles Cunliffe (Christina).

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on November 3, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at Holy Family Church, 4848 Pearl Avenue, San Jose. Interment to follow at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Road, San Jose. Reception to follow interment at the Roderick home.
