Birdsong schools honored as 2018 National Blue Ribbon Schools
Neighborhood schools are one of the most important factors when evaluating the purchase of a home. Good schools not only impact your children’s education, but research shows that they significantly impact the future resale value of your home. Birdsong by Robson Homes, a neighborhood of detached and duet homes currently under construction in Fremont, offers access to some of the very best schools in the nation, two of which were recently recognized as 2018 National Blue Ribbon Schools.
Each year, the U.S. Department of Education recognizes and celebrates exemplary schools across the nation with its National Blue Ribbon program. This year just 349 schools in the entire nation were honored. Twelve schools were in California and seven were in the Bay Area. Among the select group of public, private and charter schools are John Gomes Elementary School and William Hopkins Junior High School in Fremont. As the department’s website states, “The National Blue Ribbon School flag gracing an entry or flying overhead is a widely recognized symbol of exemplary teaching and learning.”
Gomes Elementary is walking distance from Birdsong in Fremont, and Hopkins Junior High is an easy bike ride away. The new home neighborhood offers an ideal setting in addition to access to great schools. It is situated adjacent to the Fremont golf course and the city’s incredible 465-acre Central Park. Birdsong offers detached and duet home plans, each with three or four bedrooms and threeand-a-half bathrooms. The homes are spacious and well-appointed, hallmarks of the Robson Homes brand. Prices start in the $1.2 million range. For more information about Birdsong, visit www.RobsonHomes.com.
