Ottawa’s Ben Harpur (67) checks Philadelphia’s Travis Konecny during the second period of Tuesday’s game.

Ryan Miller made 34 saves, Nick Ritchie had a goal and an assist, and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-1 on Tuesday night.

Miller won his 373rd game, moving past Andy Moog for sole possession of 17th place on the career wins list. He also moved within one victory of tying John Vanbiesbrouck for the most by a U.S.-born goalie.

Josh Manson and Carter Rowney also scored for the Ducks.

Miller stopped Victor Hedman’s first-period rebound with this left arm while prone on the ice, and turned aside Brayden Point’s shot on a breakaway in the second. SENATORS 4, FLYERS 3 >> Brady Tkachuk scored twice in the third period and Matt Duchene scored the eventual winner with 2:59 left, lifting Ottawa to a win over Philadelphia in the Flyers’ first game since they fired GM Ron Hextall.

The Flyers showed why Hextall is out of work and coach Dave Hakstol could be the next to go. They coughed up a 3-1 lead in the third over the final 6 minutes and have lost six of seven.

OILERS 1, STARS 0 >> Oscar Klefbom scored his first goal of the season in overtime, leading Edmonton to a victory over Dallas in coach Ken Hitchcock’s home debut with the Oilers. KINGS ACTIVATE QUICK >> The Los Angeles Kings activated goalie Jonathan Quick off injured reserve. Quick, who is the Kings’ regular goalie, has missed the last 12 games due to a lowerbody injury. The 32-yearold Quick has played in only four games this season. He is 0-3-1 with a 4.55 GAA and .845 save percentage.

With Quick on the bench, the Kings opened a three-game road trip with a 2-1 OT win against Vancouver. Dustin Brown nettered the winner 53 seconds into the extra period.
