If you, Elon Musk, President Donald Trump, or anyone else got onto Twitter today and found your desktop site looking a little different, you weren’t seeing things.

Starting on Monday, Twitter began rolling out a revamped version of its site; the company said it includes more features and is easier to navigate. Twitter said it had been testing features of the new site for several months, and the complete overhaul will reach all users in the coming weeks.

In the event you haven’t seen the new look, the update divides your page into three sections. On the left is list of the main Twitter features, including links to your home page, notifications, lists, bookmarks and profile. The middle of the page includes the main list of Twitter feeds you follow. On the right has the search feature, a list of trending topics and suggestions of accounts you may want to follow.

With the update, the new navigation menu includes: Home, Explore, Notifications, Messages, Bookmarks, Lists, Profile and More — the latter is a menu where users find things like Moments, Twitter’s ad tools, Settings and other features.

Composing a tweet is made easier with a bar at the top of your page saying “What’s happening?’ and buttons to include photos, GIFs and polls.

Twitter was excited enough about the changes to tweet out that “a shiny new Twitter.com for desktop” was yours for the using.

Yes, the new shiny Twitter is here. Whether it makes your tweet shine is another matter between you and your followers.
