Report: Brown not done with NFL

Antonio Brown might not be sure if he’s retiring from the NFL, but the embattled four-time All-Pro clearly isn’t done with the league.

Brown plans to file nine grievances and appeals against the league — including the Raiders — according to a report Sunday by Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

Brown reportedly is seeking $61 million he believes he is due, but other reports suggest that because some of the claims overlap between his brief stints with the Raiders and Patriots the most he could hope to recover is about $30 million.

After being acquired by the Raiders in a trade from the Steelers Brown generated plenty of buzz during training camp, but he never played in a game for Oakland before his release.

From his time with the Raiders, Brown is reportedly attempting to recoop:

• $29 million in salary guarantees

• $1 million signing bonus

• $215,000 in fines

• $860,00 for unpaid Week 1 salary

His claims against the Patriots, who he played with in Week 2 before he was cut days later, reportedly total to over $30 million, including a $20 option year for the 2020 season and a $9 million signing bonus.

Brown is being investigated by the NFL after he was accused of sexual misconduct by two women.

Brown hinted at legal action against the league last week on Twittter, posting, “Will not be playing in the @NFL anymore these owners can cancel deals do whatever they want at anytime we will see if the @NFLPA hold them accountable sad they can just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months will see if they pay up !”

He then backtracked on the retirement threat, tweeting: “I’m still the best why stop now.”
