Frosene on the gaming scene

RENO IGNITES. Following a successful run as the first resident production Harveys Tahoe hosted in its Cabaret in over a decade, Ignite Cabaresque heads to Reno to the legendary Sammy’s Showroom at Harrah’s.

Ignite features a blend of circus and cabaret with a taste of burlesque every Saturday. The show is the creation of Tahoe native Madeline Feldman, owner of Prestige Production­s and producer of over 20 production­s.

The Reno show is the fourth production and features an entirely local cast. Hosted by the mischievou­s magician Tyler Wilson, Ignite features vocalists, comedy, illusion, aerial, contortion, acrobatics and classicall­y trained dancers. Guests must be 21 years and older. HARVEYS RENOVATION. Harveys Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino announced last week that several major capital projects underway for 2019-20, including the renovation of all 519 guest rooms in the resort’s famed Lake Tower are slated for completion in June 2020. Last year, the tower balcony suites with lake views were also renovated. The upgraded rooms and projects, along with the welcomed debut of Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen Lake Tahoe, new casino bar and lounge experience­s next year will total more than $41 million in capital expenditur­es.

“Harveys Lake Tahoe is an iconic resort on the South Shore

and continues to offer enhanced amenities for guests to enjoy,” said Brad Bellhouse, regional president for Caesars Entertainm­ent in Northern Nevada. “With the newly redesigned guest rooms, the completion of the balcony suites and the upcoming of Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen Lake Tahoe located in the center of the casino, Caesars Entertainm­ent is committed to elevating guest experience­s at our resorts and advancing the Lake Tahoe tourism economy.”

Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen Lake Tahoe is currently taking reservatio­ns and debuts in early January. With reservatio­ns already exceeding 12,000, the new restaurant is located adjacent to Harveys main floor in the middle of the action and will be similar to the other Hell’s Kitchen restaurant­s which will be pulled directly from the long-running hit FOX reality show.
