“We are rocking it!” Linda Schwartz, director of sales and marketing for Tim Lewis Communities, proclaimed with enthusiasm as she reported the latest update of construction for the iconic models being built at Sutter Park in East Sacramento. The extraordinary community of 88 single-family solarliving detached homes is nestled within the historic community of East Sacramento. Sutter

Park is being built on the former grounds of Sutter Hospital where more than 350,000 babies were born during the 80 years it serviced this neighborhood before its relocation.

With this new construction underway, there is a rebirth in the form of a new-home community, unprecedented for East Sacramento in terms of size and scale. Sutter Park is comprised of three distinct product lines surrounding a brand-new community park that embraces the history and heritage of East Sacramento and the Sutter Hospital legacy. The Park, built by Stonebridge Properties, is centered

in the community and designed with gathering spots, local artist’s sculptures and rose gardens at both ends. Urban Elements will soon begin building their project to include some small local eateries to complement the neighborhood’s walk-ability.

“We are thrilled to see our model homes come together and look forward to our grand opening this spring,”

stated Schwartz. “The thoughtfulness that went into the development and design process of our Garden, Classics and Traditionals product lines have been unrivaled in the homebuilding community. Seeing that attention to detail designed into our Sutter Park architecture come to life is very exciting,” she stated.

When asked about the progress at The Summit at Whitney Ranch, Schwartz shared, “We are in our

final phase of design features being added, call it the bling and landscaping has begun!” Nestled in the foothills of Whitney Ranch, The Summit offers six innovative single-family solar-living homes ranging from 2,351 square feet to 3,447 square feet, with both single- and two-story options available, three-car garages, and an abundance of personalization opportunities. Some of those include optional junior/multigen suites,

beautifully appointed kitchens and outdoor rooms with optional fireplaces.

Whitney Ranch offers many amenities for an exciting lifestyle, including The Ranch House, where homebuyers can take a fitness class, swim in the resort-style pool or kick up their heels in the lounge. They’ll enjoy access to the community’s three sprawling parks and 5 miles of winding trails. These parks include Whitney Park, a rolling

expanse of natural space spanning 40 acres, including baseball and soccer fields. The park neighbors the Audubon Demonstration Garden, where families can learn about California’s native plants and flowers.

“The finishing touches are being added to our models, and coupled with the uncompromised canyon views, we are sure these model homes will entice the choosiest of our new-home buyers,” Schwartz stated. Residents of these new homes in Rocklin enjoy access to some of the region’s best schools, including Sunset Ranch Elementary School and Whitney High School. The community is also located near the prestigious William Jessup University.

The Summit at Whitney Ranch is a dream home come true, and Tim Lewis Communities is the builder who will build it for you.
