Just when hope was starting to fade that we’d ever return to normal, concert and event promoters have picked up the optimism banner, rescheduling postponed shows. Here’s a rundown of some recent announcements. BottleRock Napa Valley festival, originally scheduled for May 22-24, has been rescheduled for Oct. 2-4 at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa. Organizers said most of the headlining and front-line acts — including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Nicks, Dave Matthews Band, Miley Cyrus, Khalid, Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals and Zedd — are confirmed for the rescheduled dates. www. bottlerocknapavalley.com. The three-day California Roots Music & Arts Festival originally set for Memorial Day weekend (May 22-24), has been rescheduled for Oct. 9-11 at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center. californiarootsfestival.com. Multiplatinum-selling Christian music star Lauren Daigle has rescheduled her two Northern California shows, originally set for April. Daigle now performs Oct. 13 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento ($25-$122, subject to change) and Oct. 19 at Oakland Arena ($31-$122, subject to change). www.laurendaigle.com/ tour. R&B group Bell Biv DeVoe has rescheduled its March 21 show at the Chase Center in San Francisco to Oct. 10 ($85-$298). Ginuwine and 702 will join already announced guests Anthony Hamilton, Brian McKnight, Jagged Edge and Silk. The concert will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the group’s multiplatinum No. 1 debut album, “Poison,” which sold 4 million copies and featured four classic hits. www.chasecenter. com or ticketmaster.com. Roots rocker Nathaniel Rateliff, who had been scheduled for April 4-5 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, is now set for Dec. 1-2. Tickets are $59.50 at palaceoffinearts.org. L’Impératrice, a French pop and disco band, has rescheduled its April 16 Matahari World Tour 2021 at the Fox Theater in Oakland for March 17, 2021. Tickets are $27.50 at apeconcerts.com. Comedian and “Saturday Night Live” alum David Spade has rescheduled his April 25 show at the Palace of Fine Arts for Aug. 23 ($25-$75). palaceoffinearts.org.
