Olynyk, Heat ride 20-0 run to victory

Kelly Olynyk became the latest option in Miami’s starting lineup. He made a case to stick around.

Olynyk made five 3-pointers on his way to 19 points, Bam Adebayo led all scorers with 20 on 9-for-10 shooting and the Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 118-90 on Monday night.

Jimmy Butler scored 18 points for Miami, which used a 20-0 third quarter run to turn what was a four-point game into a runaway.

NETS F DURANT TO QUARANTINE FOR 7 DAYS >> Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant will need to quarantine for seven days because of contact tracing and exposure to a positive COVID-19 case, according to multiple reports. Durant’s first missed game will start with today’s game with the Jazz. Durant could miss three more games for the Nets, who are off to a 3-4 start.

SATORANSKY IS SECOND BULLS PLAYER TO TEST POSITIVE >> Guard Tomas Satoransky is the second Chicago Bulls player to test positive for COVID-19 in the past week. Head coach Billy Donovan made the announceme­nt with Satoransky’s approval.

Satoransky was one of three players who had been placed in quarantine as close contacts after forward Chandler Hutchison’s positive test on Thursday, along with forward Lauri Markkanen and guard Ryan Arcidiacon­o.

Donovan expects the team to be short-handed throughout a weeklong trip.
