CALIFORNIA’S COVID-19 VACCINE PLAN
Given the limited initial supply of COVID-19 vaccines, the state is recommending a phased approach to distribution. But counties are allowed some flexibility. After health care workers and long-term care residents, the next group to be vaccinated are elders or those in high-risk or “essential services” who are unable to work at home. There may be some overlap of the phases, based on vaccine supply and demand. For more information, go to https://covid19.ca.gov/vaccines or call the state’s COVID-19 hotline at 833-422-4255.
