California’s wineries and breweries are reopening once more for tastings by reservation. But if you’re sticking close to home, don’t fret. You can still enjoy a bit of that fun via virtual tastings. Here’s just a sampling of events online and in real life.
Three Sticks Wines Virtual Concert Series: Enjoy happy hour performances on Facebook Live. This week: Sxsw-inspired session, dubbed Three Sticks Together: South by Three Sticks (SXTS), 5:30-6:45 p.m. Thursday. www.threestickswines.com

Truffle Shuffle Virtual Wine Dinner: 4 p.m. Saturday. Learn how to prepare fresh pappardelle pasta with creamy pomodoro and truffles while Plump Jack winemaker Aaron Miller discusses the 2019 Plumpjack Reserve Chardonnay and the 2018 Plumpjack Merlot. A Chef’s Journey Through Alexander Valley: 5 p.m. Thursdays through April 1. This virtual tasting series explores food and wine in the Alexander Valley hosted by sommelier Courtney Humiston. Copain Wines and Tastings: This Healdsburg winery is offering tastings in virtual form, with wine shipped to your door ahead of time, and in real life. Reserve a session at the winery as either a seated wine tasting ($35 and up) or an alfresco lunch with bottle service or a four-wine tasting flight. Page Mill Winery: Livermore winemaker Dane Stark is offering Virtual Twilight Tastings on Facebook at 6 p.m. the first Thursday of each month.
