Cardinals beat Texans to stay unbeaten

DeAndre Hopkins caught a touchdown pass against his former team, Zach Ertz caught a touchdown pass for his new team and the Arizona Cardinals scored 31 unanswered points to roll past the visiting Houston Texans 31-5 on Sunday.

The Cardinals remain the NFL’s only undefeated team and are 7-0 for the first time since 1974. The Texans (1-6) have lost six in a row.

Arizona fell into an early 5-0 hole, but recovered to win easily.

Kyler Murray completed 20 of 28 passes for 261 yards, three touchdowns and one intercepti­on, his first since Week 3. James Conner added an 18-yard touchdown run and Ertz, recently acquired from the Eagles, had a 47-yard TD reception, which was the longest of his career.

RAMS 28, LIONS 19 >> Matthew Stafford passed for 334 yards and three touchdowns against his former team, and Jalen Ramsey made an end zone intercepti­on with five minutes left for host Los Angeles, which rallied from a 13-3 second-quarter deficit.

Jared Goff passed for 268 yards and nearly led the Lions (0-7) to an upset win in his first meeting with the Rams (6-1), who traded him for Stafford last winter.

The Rams led 25-19 when Goff drove the Lions to the Los Angeles 12 in the waning minutes. but Ramsey picked off an errant throw by Goff.

Cooper Kupp had 10 catches for 156 yards and two TDs for the Rams.

D’Andre Swift made a 63-yard catch-and-run touchdown on the opening possession for the Lions, who lost their 11th straight game. RAIDERS 33, EAGLES 22 >> Derek Carr threw for 323 yards, completing 31 of 34 pass attempts with one touchdown, and host Las Vegas (5-2) beat Philadelph­ia (2-5).

Under interim coach Rich Bisaccia, the Raiders have outscored Denver and Philadelph­ia 67-46 collective­ly, and outgained both 869-779. BUCCANEERS 38, BEARS 3 >> Tom Brady became the first player to throw 600 career touchdown passes, and Tampa Bay (6-1) has the best seven-game start in franchise history.

Mike Evans had a big day receiving for the Bucs, finishing with six catches for 76 yards and three TDs, including a 9-yarder that gave Brady No. 600 with 6 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

PACKERS 24, WASHINGTON 10 >> Aaron Rodgers threw three TD passes and host Green Bay (6-1) earned its sixth consecutiv­e win while Washington (2-5) has lost three straight.

Rodgers went 27 of 35 for 274 yards with TDn passes to Davante Adams, Allen Lazard and Robert Tonyan. PATRIOTS 54, JETS 13 >> Mac Jones threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns, Damien Harris and J.J. Taylor ran for two TDs each and New England (3-4) won for the first time at home this season.

The Patriots earned their 12th straight victory and sixth consecutiv­e season sweep over the Jets (1-5). FALCONS 30, DOLPHINS 28 >> Matt Ryan passed for 336 yards and two touchdowns, rookie tight end Kyle Pitts had seven catches for 163 yards, and Younghoe Koo made a 36-yard field goal as time expired to lift visiting Atlanta (3-3).

Tua Tagovailoa threw for 291 yards and a career-high four touchdowns for Miami (1-6).

GIANTS 25, PANTHERS 3 >> Daniel Jones threw a touchdown pass, former Carolina kicker Graham Gano made three field goals and New York (2-5) won at home for the first time in four tries this season.
