-

Gerry Bohanon threw a touchdown and ran for two more scores, Baylor’s defense constantly pressured both Oklahoma quarterbacks and the host 18thranked Bears won 27-14 Saturday to end the No. 4 Sooners’ nation’s-best 17game winning streak.

Abram Smith had 148 yards rushing, including a 75-yard scamper to set up the first of Bohanon’s rushing TDs in the fourth quarter, and the Bears (82, 5-2 Big 12, CFP No. 18) rebounded from an unexpected loss a week earlier at struggling TCU.

The Sooners (9-1, 6-1, CFP No. 8) were held to 260 total yards, their fewest ever with Lincoln Riley in his five seasons as head coach and two seasons as offensive coordinator before that. It was their fewest points in a regularseason game since a 48-14 home loss to Baylor in 2014.

Although Florida (5-5) ended a three-game skid, the offensive shootout in the Swamp felt more like a loss than any outcome in embattled coach Dan Mullen’s four years in Gainesville.

Florida gave up its most points (42) in a half against any opponent, and it came against a middle-of-the pack team from the Southern Conference.

The Gators trailed Samford (4-6) by as many as 14 points in a game they were favored to win by more than five touchdowns.
