models that have four to six bedrooms and up to 4,123 square feet of living space. In addition, the popular Hideaway community is now releasing homes in its second phase, bringing back its popular carriage house home design as well as two more traditional single-family detached homes.

There are currently a dozen new-home*

communities for sale in River Islands, with more in the planning and design process. Never has there been a wider array of home styles, sizes and prices. As a result, River Islands has attracted a diverse group of buyers, each looking for something that suits their household size and needs. With so many people working from home, flexible floor plans and extra bedrooms have been very popular. It is not uncommon to see a tech center,

a dedicated homework space and one or two home offices in a single home.

Neighborhood prices vary widely based on the size of the homes being offered and their amenities, but generally, home pricing starts in the mid-$600,000s and ranges up to over $1 million.

The homes at River Islands are a reflection of the vision of the fine homebuilders who have been selected to bring new-home designs to

the community. Homes being offered today range in size from a 1,447-square-foot plan with three bedrooms all the way up to six- and seven-bedroom designs and homes with more than 4,000 square feet of living space.

The River Islands master plan allows for approximately 15,000 residences to be built on its 5,000-acre site. The land development team is always working on future areas for development in the

project to ensure that builders are able to provide new-home offerings throughout the course of the year, for years to come.

River Islands is also adding new lifestyle amenities to keep up with the growth of the community. Two new lakes are now open. The large, multipurpose 15acre community park is under construction, and a park is underway in the Avalon neighborhood. The third K-8 charter school, a member of the River Islands Academies, will open in August, as will the Ninth Grade Academy — the first phase of River Islands High School.
