Braves rally to win their 10th in a row

Dansby Swanson blooped a three-run single, Ozzie Albies added a grand slam in an eight-run seventh inning and the Atlanta Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 10-4 Saturday for their 10th consecutiv­e win.

Ronald Acuña Jr. and Austin Riley also homered for the defending World Series champions, on their longest streak since winning 14 in a row from July 26 to Aug. 9, 2013. Pittsburgh has lost five straight. Atlanta trailed 4-2 before batting around in the seventh against Duane Underwood Jr. (02) and Chris Stratton. Marcell Ozuna doubled and scored on Michael Harris II's single before Swanson's single to right. Albies' fifth career slam put the Braves in front 10-4.

The Pirates built a 4-2 lead on RBI doubles in the fifth by Bryan Reynolds and Ke'Bryan Hayes.

PHILLIES 4, DIAMONDBAC­KS 0 >> Zack Wheeler struck out eight over six sharp innings, Bryson Stott hit a two-run homer and host Philadelph­ia blanked Arizona for its ninth straight victory, matching its longest streak in 11 years.

Phillies interim manager Rob Thomson improved to 8-0 since he took over for the fired Joe Girardi.

Wheeler (5-3) tossed two-hit ball, walked none and lowered his ERA to 2.84. YANKEES 8, CUBS 0 >> Aaron Judge homered twice as surging New York slugged its way past Chicago at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees set a season high with six homers, all solo shots off rookie Matt Swarmer (11), raising their MLB-leading total to 94. New York won for the 10th time in 11 games.

Judge hit his second career leadoff homer and then hit his MLB-best 24th homer in the fifth for a 5-0 lead.

Giancarlo Stanton, Gleyber Torres, Jose Trevino and Anthony Rizzo also homered. NATIONALS 8, BREWERS 6 >> Juan Soto, Nelson Cruz and Josh Bell hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the fifth, and Washington handed visiting Milwaukee its eighth straight loss.

The Brewers have been outscored 57-20 during their skid.

Washington broke it open in the fifth against Milwaukee starter Eric Lauer (5-2). The left-hander entered the day having surrendere­d just one homer in his last four starts, but things went sideways as he faced the Nationals' order for a third time.

CARDINALS 5, REDS 4 >> Tommy Edman hit a two-run homer with two outs in the ninth inning for the first walkoff RBI of his major league career, lifting St. Louis over Cincinnati.

Paul Goldschmid­t's streak of reaching base ended at 46 games with an 0-for-4 day for the NL Central-leading Cardinals.

TWINS 6, RAYS 5 >> Luis Arraez hit his first career grand slam and Minnesota spoiled the season debut of Tampa Bay pitcher Shane Baz.

Arraez got at least three hits for the seventh time this season, raising his average to .367. He homered as part of a five-run third inning against Baz (0-1), the Rays' top pitching prospect who returned after elbow surgery in March.
