Vincent George Bradley, Jr. passed away on February 17, 2024, at home in El Dorado Hills, California. Husband to Kathleen (Nancy) King, Vince was the proud father of four, grandfather of five, and great grandfather to five. His professional career spanned more than 55 years working with nonprofit organizations, benefiting millions of people over time.
Vince was born on February 25, 1933, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to Vincent and Mercedes (Petty) Bradley. He was the oldest of eight siblings. Along with his brother Paul, he worked at Bradley Ice, and the family-owned gas station. Vince joined the United States Marine Corps prior to launching his career in fundraising, primarily supporting youth causes.
Vince retired after decades as a consultant, where he was known for his expertise in campaign strategy. As a volunteer, he joined boards like Camp Jones Gulch, even donating a 1920s era payphone to the Chinatown YMCA.
Vince enjoyed traveling and had many hobbies. He was a member of the Marines’ Memorial Club, Silicon Valley Capital Club, and the Almaden Golf & Country Club.
Vince is survived by his wife of 68 years Kathleen, son Vincent III, daughters Debbie and Karen, and their families. At the time of death, he was survived by siblings Paul Bradley, Pat Bradley, Dennis Bradley (passed 3.16.24), Mary Louise Phillips, and Martin Bradley. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Michael James Bradley and siblings Mary Ann and Barbara. A memorial service will be held on April 12, 2024, at Holy Trinity Church in El Dorado Hills, California.
