Pottstown: Valentine’s Oldies Dance And Valentine’s Dinner, open to the public, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Pottstown Elks Lodge 814, 61High St. Dinner begins at 5p.m. and the dance begins at 7p.m. Tickets for dance are $5each and you must be 21-years-old. DJ Jimmy Kelly from the Allentown area will provide the music. Dinner information is available on Elks Lodge #814 (B.P.O.E.) Facebook page. RSVP’s and dinner selection are required. Pottstown: Soroptimist International of Pottstown is offering a $3,000scholarship to a female graduating senior who attends a high school in the 19464 or 19465areas and resides in Montgomery or Chester County. Applicants must be the daughter of a female “head of household” and have a cumulative 3.00or higher grade point average. Maximum family income is $80,000.
