State Sen. Daylin Leach is for gay marriage, marijuana and now he wants to eliminate second-degree murder in Pennsylvania, murders that occurred during a felony such as a rape or robbery. Who votes for him? No wonder Pennsylvania’s in the shape it’s in with elected officials like Daylin Leach working for the criminals and against the people.

Throw Daylin Leach Out

I wish someone would wipe that smart smirk off the face of that pharmaceutical chief Martin Shkreli. They should put himin jail formurder, holding ill people from getting the medication they need to keep them alive because they can’t afford it. I sure wouldn’t be proud to call himmy son. What kind of selfish monster is he? And so the county commissioners are so proud of themselves. My taxes have gone up almost $100 this year. Where did all that money go for the sale of Parkhouse?

This is to the person who says Clinton and Sanders want to give everything away for free. No they don’t want to give it away for free. They want the top 1 percent to pay more of their share of the pie. Besides that the Republicans just want to do away with Social Security, unemployment and all the other benefits we worked all our lives for. Rethink what you’re saying.

You know what the biggest pile of discrimination in United States is today? It’s that you have to go online to get stuff. A lot of people don’t have a computer, don’t care about a computer and you can’t call for anything anymore to order something or get tickets. It’s totally the biggest piece of discrimination in this country.

This is not a narrowminded person who’s out to bash Trump in reference to the comment on Friday. I think Trump should have been at a benefit months, years ago giving his money away instead of avoiding the debate in Iowa. We’re going to be in terrible trouble if he gets to be our president.

This is for the ladies who watch the soaps. My friend and I were saying with “The Young and the Restless” it’s pretty good but they need a new writer for “The Bold and the Beautiful” because they sure are stupid stories lately, really stupid.

If Republicans win the White House there will be a quick Obamacare repeal that means millions of people without insurance and then next would be privatizing Social Security.

I’d just like to add to the great Mercury delivery people, Justine and Maynard Anderson are at the top of the list. They are the very best. During the snow as soon as the papers were out they were delivered and right to our door. To some of us who they see in the yard in the summertime and we can’t walk too well, they delivered it to our side yard. Thank you.

Does anyone know where to find a listing of slumlords in our area so we do not make the same horrible mistake again?

I always thought a student had to reside in the school district he or she attends but I heard that the Pottsgrove School District allows students to use their grandparents’ addresses as long as it is approved by the principal. Is this something new? Do other school districts operate in the same manner?

Hey DP, you’re right. Republicans did give Obama a blank check for $1 trillion. But then again they had to or else they would’ve been accused of shutting down the government. Maybe you should watch Fox News and you’d know that those Republicans really aren’t Republicans but RINOS — Republicans In Name Only.

A lot of the towns have rebuilt their towns around historical significance and architecture that was unique to their towns. We had so many things in Pottstown that we could have built the town around the history of these great buildings but we tore so many of them down that now we have nothing to build around in the town. That’s pretty evident when you drive down High Street, there’s nothing there to work with.

Regarding the Cosby matter, I am glad that Judge O’Neill recognized the importance of the adage, “An oral contract isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.”

Be aware, phone calls are coming through which state they are from the IRS. As most of you know it is a scam. I tried calling them back and they hung up on me. That night I got another call and hung up on them. The number is 202-817-0721. It comes through as a cell phone from DC. Hope this helps.
