Neighborhood Bible Time comes to Boyertown
COLEBROOKDALE >> Neighborhood Bible Time, a unique two week program for all youth in the Boyertown area directed by visiting Youth Evangelists will be presented by Colebrookdale Chapel, 2108 Farmington Ave.
Children age 4 to 6th grade will attend the first week from July 31 to Aug. 4. Teens from 7th to 12th grade will attend the second week from Aug. 7 to 11. The unique feature of the teen program is its theme of Teen Olympics. Both will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday.
A Closing Program will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7. It will conclude with a country fair for the kids and a free pig roast for all ages from the community. Please RSVP for the pig roast no later than July 31.
Pastor Ken Lindow invites all youth ages 4 to 18, regardless of denomination, to participate in this week of special activity. Dramatic stories, Bible drills, lifetime souvenirs, daily gifts, contests, competition, free dinner each night and a cookie snack are a few of the highlights.
Free transportation can be provided to and from Bible Time.
The children in the canvassed area are to wait at their homes or at the street corner nearest their home for the Bible Time bus. The buses will be clearly identified. Children should be ready at 6 p.m. for pickup to arrive for registration and the free dinner. The children will be returned to their homes or to the corner immediately following the 9 p.m. dismissal. Parents of smaller children are asked to pin an identification tag with name, address and phone number on their little ones. Each may bring a Bible and a friend.
