Lee Ray Weil, 92, of Wyomissing
Lee Ray Weil, 92, of Wyomissing, husband of Virginia R. (Robenolt) Weil, died Thursday at Reading Hospital & Medical Center.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Emmanuel B. Weil and the late Martha (Jordan) Weil.
Ray was a professional engineer for STV - Sanders & Thomas, Inc. for 39 years before retiring in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
Ray was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Pottstown, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge #814, Pottstown Moose Club, and Pottstown Owls Club.
Surviving beside his wife is a brother, Joseph Weil, Reading; and a half sister, Kathryn Wilson.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. on Friday Sept. 2, 2016 from Country Meadows Retirement Community, 1800 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing. Officiating will be the Rev. Jeffrey C. Stonesifer. Burial will be private in Highland Memorial Park. There will be no viewing.
