Edward T. Wagner, 71, of Royersford

Edward T. Wagner, (Poppy) 71, of Royersford, husband of Louise S. (Scorr) Wagner, passed away on Friday, Aug. 26, 2016 at his home.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward T. Wagner and Margaret E. (Mink) Allen.

Ed was an active member at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oaks. He was a social member at both Friendship Hook and Ladder and Liberty Fire Companies. Ed had a successful 48 year career with Sears. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed golf, tennis, bowling and softball. He loved to travel, especially to the Caribbean and Sedona. Ed enjoyed music from every decade, but particularly from the 50’s and 60’s.

Surviving with his wife of 50 years is son Edward T. Wagner III, husband of Tammy, of Gilbertsville; daughter Kristen L. Tsitoukis, wife of Kosta, of Schwenksville; brother Howard O. Allen, husband of Sharon, of Levittown; sisters Nancy Casey, wife of Joseph, of Philadelphia., Janice Love, wife of Robert, of DE, and Susan Dennis, wife of Bill, of Reading; and grandchildren Ashley, Edward IV, Brynn, Riley, Yanni, Nicholas, and Alexandra.

A visitation will be Saturday, Sept 3 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Catagnus Funeral Home, 329 N. Lewis Road, Royersford, PA 19468.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, Sept. 3 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 126 Blackrock Road, Oaks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
