2 men dead after apparent shooting in Coatesville

COATESVILLE, PA. >> Authorities say two men died after apparent gunshot wounds in an apartment in the suburban Philadelphia city of Coatesville.

Officers responded to the unit shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on a report of shots fired and found 56-yearold David Fitzsimmons dead.

Police said 46-year-old William Chance was taken by ambulance to Paoli Hospital and succumbed to his injuries there.

Investigators said controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were found in the apartment. No arrests were immediately announced.
