PennDOT schedules multiple lane restrictions

PennDOT has announced that lane restrictions will take place next week for roadwork that is expected to take place.

In a press release Wednesday, PennDOT stated that lanes on the Route 422 ramp to Armand Hammer Boulevard and lanes at the intersection of Route 422 and Armand Hammer Boulevard in Lower Pottsgrove are scheduled to begin Tuesday for reconstruction of the intersection.

Work will begin Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as well as Monday Oct. 10 and Tuesday Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Restrictions will also take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. for the milling and resurfacing of the intersection.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time for travel through those areas as backups are expected.
