Ex-teacher’s aide pleads guilty in child porn case

PHILADELPHIA >> A former Philadelphia teacher’s aide has pleaded guilty in federal court to sending pornographic images to a 13-yearold boy.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports that 31-year-old Quasim Cunningham entered the plea last week to charges including attempted manufacture of child pornography and using of an interstate commerce facility to entice a minor to engage in sexual conduct.

Cunningham is also facing charges in Delaware County of unlawful contact with a minor, disseminating explicit sexual material to a minor and related offenses. He’s set to stand trial in that case on Nov. 1.

Authorities say detectives were contacted by the mother of a 13-year-old boy who received pornographic images from an adult. Prosecutors say the man was later identified as Cunningham.

Cunningham is also facing charges in Delaware County of unlawful contact with a minor, disseminating explicit sexual material to a minor and related offenses.
