Margery L. Dillman, 86

Margery L. Dillman (nee Diehl) passed away on September 23, 2016, at the age of 86. She was born in Toledo, Ohio and a longtime resident of Media and Phoenixville. Margery was an elementary teacher in Philadelphia, Havertown, and Wallingford school districts, and a Sunday school teacher at Christ Church Media. After raising her family, she worked alongside her husband at Carl Dillman Shoes. Marge enjoyed arts and crafts, was a talented seamstress, loved travelling and camping with her family.

Margery was the wife of the late Carl R. Dillman, devoted mother of Mary Martin (Stanley) and Philip Dillman, and sister of the late Col. Arthur Diehl and Kenneth Diehl. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gary, Frank, David, Christen, Nicholas and Daniel, and her great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, October 2 at the Cavanagh-Patterson Family Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media, PA from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 3 at 11:00 am at the Church of the Epiphany, 209 S. 3rd Ave., Royersford, PA. Int. Private
