Pottstown SCORE to host annual Small Business Expo
POTTSTOWN >> SCORE will host its second Annual Small Business Expo on Oct. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside County Club, 850 N. Adams Ave. Pottstown.
This year’s Expo will feature guest speaker Gail S. Bower, founder and president of Bower & Co. Consulting LLC, who will speak about “What is the Future of Small Business?” Trained as a futurist (and a member of the Association of Professional Futurists), Bower studies where society is headed, what trends are on the horizon, and how these trends impact her clients’ businesses.
An estimated 50 exhibitors are expected to attend the event, which is free for attendees. SCORE is a national nonprofit organization serving eastern Berks, western Montgomery and northern Chester counties from the Pottstown chapter headquarters. It is comprised of experienced volunteers who provide free and confidential expert business counseling to individuals who are considering starting a business, as well as owners and managers who are already in business.
