Pottstown Family and Home Expo kicks off
NORTH COVENTRY » The annual Pottstown Family and Home Expo opens Friday at the Coventry Mall — continuing throughout the weekend. The free event will feature more than 50 vendors — representing builders, contractors, remodelers and informational sources. The expo is being held for the second year at the Coventry Mall, in the former Ross Dress for Less store — March 3, 4 and 5.
Sponsored by the NARIBIE — Building Industries Exchange of Pottstown and vicinity, the three-day event offers homeowners a chance to meet with experts to talk about indoor or outdoor home projects they might have planned — from small upgrades to major renovations.
In addition to information for homeowners, family entertainment includes a cake decorating contest Friday evening; a birdhouse building competition Saturday afternoon and two cooking competitions on Sunday afternoon.
Hours for the event are: March 3, 2 to 9 p.m.; March 4, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and March 5, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information including a schedule of events, visit http://pottstownfamilyandhomeexpo.com/
