I received a call from a fraud saying they were the Internal Revenue Service and they had an arrest warrant out for me for fraudulent taxes. I wonder how many old people fall for this. I’ve never frauded anybody in my life. They are absolute trash wherever they are calling from. Shame on them and please don’t listen to this stuff. I had to listen just to see what they were saying because I know better than to fall for it but I guess I’m going to be arrested very soon. Shirley

This is in reply to the person worried about people driving around while they’re high on marijuana. Personally I believe you have more to worry about people driving around drunk on alcohol or texting and on their telephones. I believe legalizing marijuana recreationally would improve our economy like it has done in so many other states. Lady Di

It looks like the powers that be have finally come to their senses in Pottstown in getting rid of four traffic lights. You’ve got two more to go. Berks and High streets, get rid of it. Second one, at the old Giant on State Street, it fell down. Everybody has been getting through the traffic light perfectly on their own. Don’t need a babysitter up there people.

Hey I must be stupid and I know I’m not a grossly overpaid school superintendent but Pottstown schools sent out an email concerning a twohour delay opening on Wednesday but in the title line or subject line it says “school closing.” I guess there’s not enough commas or zeros on my paycheck that will make me understand how you title it school closing and then in the content of your email you say that there’s a two-hour delay. So, hmmmmm.

Clark Kent, of course you believe ABC, CBS and NBC are unbiased — you’re a liberal. These networks were so arrogant in their decades-long bias that they unintentionally created the opportunity for Fox to swoop in and poach their viewers. Now Fox’s viewership is larger than that of CNN and MSNBC combined and Fox frequently outdraws the major networks for events coverage. So if you’ve got a problem with Fox you can thank those “unbiased” networks of yours. JTD

Mr. President, release your tax returns so we know where you cheated. Don’t hide anymore. We already have your 2005 tax returns. WikiLeaks, remember you said about you love WikiLeaks? Well we have your 2005 so you may as well release the rest of them so we can put you in jail.

I’d just like to give a thanks for nothing to PennDOT on Tuesday. My next-door neighbor was kind enough to do a nice job on my front walk along Grosstown Road and then PennDOT took one last run late in the day and put all kinds of heavy snow all over my sidewalk. It is a mess and I will not be going out there. Beverly

If you were still driving around with snow all over your car the day after this snowstorm you’re an unsafe driver. You’re rude to all the other drivers on the road. Ridiculous. Where are the cops, why don’t they ticket? We could stop this really easily. Just start fining people and they’ll go on and tell their friends at work that they got ticketed for not clearing their car. Also the word will get out that you’re going to get a ticket. That’s just stupid.

Opposition to Jeff Sessions as attorney general had nothing to do with race or Russia but much to do with de-legitimizing likely investigations into criminality on the part of the Obama administration and its surrogates. Mark Furlong

For several years now I have seen in Sound Off where people called in stating that if there wasn’t a lot of cooperation between school administration, teachers and parents the discipline problems and learning problems would continue to get worse. Do we have to call in outside sources to clean up the mess we try to call education?

In regards to our state Rep. Hennessey I too would like to know where he is and what he is doing for us. I’m sure he is still collecting a paycheck. Maybe he is sitting in that new office in Coventry. He could be working on ways to get rid of the property tax. Oh, I forgot, he is for property tax. Please help us seniors keep our homes.

Upper Pottsgrove, please, please, please that implement of destruction that you call a monster snow plow, get rid of it. Give it to the Philadelphia International Airport. Sell it, blow it up, but enough is enough of this. It leaves a path of destruction.
