Gilbertsville: Party with a Purpose
with Chestnut Knoll Personal Care and Memory Care for a great evening of St. Patrick’s Day themed drinks and fun, and help raise money for the
Alzheimer’s Association. This event will be held at the Gilbertsville Fire Company, 1454 E. Philadelphia Ave. on Saturday, March 25, from 7 to 11 p.m. Cost is $25 per person, and includes five raffle tickets and two drink tickets. Guests will include stars of the TV Show “Primal Instinct,” live entertainment by the band Flight Risk, and Joe Notario as M.C. There will also be raffles and a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Every year
200 W. Spring St., provides Easter baskets to children of client families in need. Easter items collected are then given to as many children as possible.
Easter basket donations are currently being accepted now through Friday, April 7. Completed Easter Baskets are preferred and baskets can be made for girls, boys or gender neutral. Other Easter items are also welcome, especially plastic eggs and bags of candy to fill them. Peanut-free baskets and/or items are also welcome. Donations can be made to the Multi-Service office.
