Pottstown: A seminar on Understanding Dementia Behaviors will be hosted at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Manatawny Manor, 30 Old Schuylkill Road. Participants will learn tips for coping and caring well for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. The presentation will be hosted by Gina Cooke, director of Manatawny Manor Adult Day Care; Joan Grasso, program coordinator of the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter; and Linda Detwiler, director of Chestnut Knoll At Home. Limerick: The Monthly Coffee Break will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29 at the Limerick Township Municipal Building, 155 S. Limerick Road, Suite 200. This is a free program that is geared toward educating seniors about health, safety and leisure topics. The topic will be Local Memorabilia presented by the Spring-Ford Historical Society. Boyertown: A free educational program,
“History Revisited” by Darius Puff, will be held from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. on Thursday at Boyertown Area Multi-Service Inc., The Center at Spring Street, 200 West Spring St. Participants will view a segment of the PBS produced video “We Shall Remain-America through Native Eyes.” Darius Puff, a local Lenape historian whose heritage includes Lenape and English, will facilitate a discussion following the film viewing. Anyone 55 years of age or older is welcome.
