Carl J. Lepore Sr.

Carl J. Lepore, Sr., 92, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Manatawny Manor. He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Plinio) Lepore who passed in 1996.

Carl was born February 21, 1925 in Newark, NJ. He was a son of the late Peter Lepore and Mary (Pollard) Lepore.

He enjoyed collecting records and stamps. He had an intense passion for music, but not as big as his love for his family.

He is survived by six children: Peter A. Lepore, Carl J. Lepore Jr. and his wife, Sherry; Carla M. Vigil and her husband, Phil; Mary T. Lepore; Michelle D. Curlee and her husband, Ronald; Patricia A. Yoder and her husband, Kenneth. Also surviving are one brother, James Lepore and his wife, Laura; one sister, Margaret “Dolly” Lepore; nine grandchildren: Nathan, Katie, Kevin, Marybeth, Meg, Rachel, Mandy, Anthony, and Zachary; six great-grandchildren with one on the way!

In addition to his wife and parents he is pre-deceased by two brothers: Joseph “Bud” Lepore and Peter Lepore, husband of Monika.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 10-11 am at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St. Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will take place following the viewing at 11 am. We will be meeting at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 9:30 am.
