Southern Chester Chamber’s Women in Business give back at La Comunidad Hispana
KENNETT SQUARE » The Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce’s Women In Business recently hosted “Giving Back” at La Comunidad Hispana. The Women In Business “Giving Back” program is a new community service initiative aimed at helping to make the community a better place.
A group of 28 members assembled food bags for the new Family Fitness Program at La Comunidad Hispana, which provides intensive interventions for 50 of client families.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY MAN ACHIEVES NATIONAL RECOGNITION » Robert R. Miller, was nominated and recently approved as a Fellow member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
In order to be considered for Fellow status, a member must be invited by the admissions committee, be nominated and endorsed by at least three fellow members, and have achieved distinction in service to the Society and the profession. The number of fellow members ap-
proved each year is limited to 0.5 percent of the total membership of the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
Miller became a Professional Licensed Surveyor in 1979 in Pennsylvania and 1994 in Delaware. He is a past state president of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors and is a founding trustee of the Pennsylvania Land Surveyors Foundation. Miller was honored as the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors 2008 Pennsylvania Surveyor of the Year.
Miller is employed as a survey manager by Horizon Engineering in Pennsburg.
